Have you ever been inspired to do something powerful or amazing, by someone you love and care for? Malala can connect to that because Malalas' father was the person who inspired her to stick up for women's education. It might seems weird that she has to stick up for education because here in the U.S.A education is a requirement. Even if we don't go to public school there is private school or even home school.
Why Is Her Dad The Person Who Inspired Her

Her father was the person who inspired her to fight for girls education because he believed girls should have education way before Malala got into the argument about women's rights.
On an interview with Jon Stewart, Jon asked Malala "Were you ever scared that the Taliban would come and kill you?" She said " No , but I was scared that the Taliban would come to kill my father." Then Jon asked "If the Taliban came to kill you what would you do?"
"If the Taliban ever came to kill me I wouldn't treat them with cruelty because they are human beings too."
